Looks are very deceiving! When I bought this Trish McEvoy lipstick in Milan, I was in love with the color and the fact that it was labeled as a sheer formula. I’m not a fan of matte lipsticks because my lips tend to be dry. It does go on sheer when applied but it’s not the least bit moisturizing and when it dries it tends to feel like a matte finish. However, this is not the case with all Trish McEvoy sheer lipsticks.
I applied a heavier swatch so you could actually see the color I was going for.
In person, this color looks bright to me, however when I took this picture it looked like a light color.

I’m a bit disappointed with this particular color. I still have faith in Trish McEvoy’s sheer formulas as she has proven in the past to create amazingly pigmented moisturizing lipsticks. For now, I’ll just slap some gloss on top and call it a day.
