I have been curious about Sephora brands lately and how they came to be, I mean I have always dreamed about having my own line ( who hasnt! beats a lame 9 to 5) so i’m going to share with you what I find! The first brand’s background is Tarte ( thanks Alycia!).
Tarte is an awesome brand that makes you feel good inside & out. It was started by Maureen Kelly, who has a Masters in Psychology from Columbia and a back ground in Interior Design ( not a makeup artist in any way!) just a woman who wanted luxury cosmetics that are good for the skin! She launched her line in 2000 and makeup artists, beauty editors and celebs fell in love with all her colors, the packaging and how healthy it was. Tarte is now a regular in red carpet goodie bags because everyone cannot get enough of what Kelly creates. Some award winning products are Cheek Stain, FRxtion and 24/7 Lip Sheers.
