Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser

Hey beauties, as I mentioned in my tinted moisturiser shopping post I picked up the new Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser last month and I’m excited to review it in full for you. We might even be talking Holy Grail material with this one girls!

The packaging is typical Nars, simple, classic and effortless. Which is my favourite kind. I love pretty packaging (think YSL) as much as the next girl but there’s something much more chic about plain black.  You get 50ml of product and it’ll cost you £27.00. Depending on who you are, that may or may not sound like a lot. It’s more then I’d normally pay for a tinted moisturiser but pretty standard for a foundation. There are nine shades in the range and as usual for Nars they are pretty good at covering quite a wide spectrum meaning there’s likely to be something for nearly everyone. I of course was matched to the lightest shade – Finland, which was unsurprising! It’s a perfect match for my incredibly pale skin which is unusual! It’s completely oil free and contains SPF30 and PA+++ meaning it’s going to be perfect in the summer. That being said, I’m finding it hard not to want to use it everyday!

It’s quite runny and sinks into the skin really well. It’s incredibly lightweight meaning you can wear it sheerly or build it to a more medium coverage. Even when you build it, it remains light and non-cakey. It covers any signs of hyperpigmentation and is nice and hydrating while still not being too dewy. Once applied my skin feels smoother and softer and I’m given a healthy, naturally radiant glow. I know, it sounds to good to be true right? I still can’t quite get over how much I love this tinted moisturiser! I’ve mentioned in a few posts how bad my skin has become in the past few months and I’ve been sticking to quite high coverage foundations. I actually feel that this improves the appearance of my skin while doing it a bit more good than a full face of foundation everyday. My sensitive skin has had no further breakouts since I’ve been using this. It lasts all day without having to powder which is a massive plus for work.
You can probably already guess that I’m in love with this tinted moisturiser and would 100% recommend trying it next time you’re at a Nars counter.  I think I knew I was going to fall for this as soon as the MUA applied a tiny amount to my jaw. It’s absolutely perfect for what I was looking for in terms of consistency, coverage, colour shade and SPF protection. Amazing!
